Chenda, a young Cambodian teacher, leads a two-faced existence: during the day she teaches French, at night she lives her passion for music, playing in small venues. By going against the grain of the traditional values of her culture, Chenda loses her job and is kicked out of her home. Having nothing to lose, she rides with Niko, her mentor, to Bangkok where a peculiar adventure with French pop-punk singer Didier WAMPAS awaits her.
