Emma is an awkward and shy cleaning lady working in a hospital. Edward, a doctor, shows some interest in her. Emma feels this. Edward dies and is taken to the hospital where Emma works. She visits him, gets naked and tries to make love to him. Next morning Emma walks into the morgue. Edward's parents and a doctor come in as well. Edward's father tells the doctor - We'll cremate him. That night Emma goes into the morgue and bags Edward. She takes him home. As she hugs him in bed the doctors break in and take Edward away. Emma mops. A man brings a corpse into a funeral home, Emma watches closely, when the man is gone Emma goes for the body.
