Deep beneath the waves, on an eerily deserted submarine, a haunted submariner finds his daily routine disrupted by the appearance of a mysterious figure from the darkness of a torpedo tube. No matter what he does, this shadowy form cannot be escaped or buried, and he finds himself driven into the depths of the boat, until there is nowhere left to hide... The Ash Can is an exploration of the fear of death in the submerged coffin of a submarine, where things emerging out of the darkness can bring death with their touch.
