'Keeping in Uniform' follows the stories of two 18-year old girls, going through a very strange and difficult stage of life. Danielle and Julia live in two different cities and come from very different family backgrounds, however share one thing in common: they both are currently serving as combat soldiers in the Israeli Defense Force. The film follows the two girls in their service and shows how their individual situations affect their abilities as soldiers, the pressure to join the military, and the struggle to be recognized as female combat soldiers within the military and within society.
