Turning Points

Turning Points (2012)

When did your life change? A Hollywood star, an Olympic runner, a career woman, a visually impaired dancer and a boy living with autism tell their life changing stories, stories that left them in a better place. An enigmatic boy, The Runner, races through a landscape that is both threatening and rewarding. This short film by filmmaker Chris Tally Evans is illustrated with stunning images from his native Wales, images that comment on the narrative, sometimes beautiful, sometimes wry, always enchanting. Born from a storytelling project that gathered a hundred stories from five countries and featuring former 007 Sir Roger Moore and Olympian Jamie Baulch, Turning Points was a commission for the London 2012 Festival running alongside the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
