The film is about the life of an Iranian political refugee in Exile. After 2 years of living in London, He starts a journey through Europe in order to see his friends who had to flee Iran after his departure. In this journey he goes to various countries before going back to the UK. Through his commentaries the film goes through their activities inside Iran and the harsh reality of exile while new anti-immigration parties get in to power one after the other. Using the example of two of these friends who live in the Anne Frank's house(as writers under dictatorship) in Amsterdam, the film goes through the history of Fascism, Racism and Nationalism and compares it with the current situation in Europe.
