Phoebe, a young girl from the underground city of Anthropolis, wonders what lies beyond the cave her people call home. This short film is hand-drawn, inspired by the art of Alfons Mucha, Hayao Miyazaki, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and others. 'Cave' draws from the philosophy of Plato as well as contemporary thought, dealing with the problem of evil, and the nature of reality, in the context of a fantastical adventure story.
